Our Mission
Our mission is to provide complete vermicomposting
solutions to achieve recycling of organic waste material into superior soil
amendments. We accomplish this by conducting workshops on vermicomposting
techniques and complementing this education with products to apply these
techniques.
VermiPRO specializes in the methodology of using worms to eat
through slowly decomposing organic
materials (e.g. , vegetable scraps, coffee grounds,
green waste, manures, sea weed etc…) which results in a rich admixture for soil called worm
castings or simply “castings”.
We
have fully
operational Worm Farms and
Breeder Beds throughout Southern
California which offer a variety of products and services to avid gardeners, plant
enthusiasts, residential homeowners, educational institutions and commercial organization.
These offerings revolve around the process called vermicomposting, ("vermi" is
the Latin word for worm) composting with worms.
